Diagnosis/Quote/Minimum fee $80 + GST This is our minimum bench fee - it is included in the overall cost of repair if you choose to proceed. We will open up your equipment and do some initial diagnostics to work out what is wrong with your unit, how long it is likely to take to repair and give you an estimated cost on request. This cost is included in the overall cost of the repair if you choose to proceed. If you choose not to proceed or you are only after advice, we thank you for agreeing to a minimum fee to cover our costs.
General Amp Service Flat Fee $175 plus parts + GST Our general amp service includes changing tubes, bias, cleaning pots and sockets, and doing minor repairs. Parts are charged separately. If we discover a more complicated problem we will contact you and charge at the normal hourly rate for additional work.
Amp Repair Hourly Rate $105 plus parts + GST Pedal Repair Hourly rate $75 plus parts + GST These are our standard hourly rates for amp & pedal repairs. The total cost of your repair is dependent on the time it takes to repair it and the parts that are required. We will do our best to give you an accurate quote but electronics are temperamental so things might change - if they do, we’ll call you to discuss your options.
Rush Job $75 surcharge If you are in a bind and need something fixed quickly, a surcharge is payable for jumping the queue. We have limited availability for rush jobs so contact us to find out if we can squeeze you in.
Pedal Set up, Builds & Onsite repairs Price on Application & dependant on availability Pedal set ups, amp builds and onsite repairs vary in complexity and cost. Contact us for a detailed quote.
Storage Fees $5 a day + GST We give you 30 days to pick up your equipment from the date of completion. After this, storage fees are payable and the goods will be dealt with in accordance with the Uncollected Goods Act 1995.
Late payment fee 10% of the invoice after 14 days + GST Once your goods are repaired and ready to go, we will send you an invoice and arrange a pick up time. If your invoice is not paid within 14 days, we have a late payment fee of 10%. We don’t love doing this but have found it’s necessary to keep the business flowing. Thanks for understanding. If you are going to have trouble paying, let us know well in advance and we can delay your repair to a time that suits you.
Deposit 30% for quotes over $500 For all quotes over $500 a non-refundable deposit of 30% is required before we proceed with your repair.
